High School Player Development Camp

“The NFL High School Player Development program addresses challenges facing high school football programs across the country focusing primarily on underserved communities. HSPD serves as a free resource for both high school player and coaches. The program emphasizes safety and concussion awareness, character development and life skills, and football fundamentals.”

NFL Foundation’s HSPD Comes to Nevada for the first time!

When: June 10th thru June 14th (from 9:AM to Noon daily)

Where: Rancho’s Football field (1900 Searles Ave, Las Vegas, Nevada)  

Who will participate? Rancho/ Western/ and Sunrise Mountain football players  

Who else will be there? More than a dozen Coaches from Rancho/Western and Sunrise Mountain   

What is the purpose of the free camp?

  1. Helps to teach the fundamentals of football to players from 3 local high schools without going away to camp
  2. Provides a free football camp to young athletes that cannot afford away camp
  3. Gives players the chance to be part of a National program sponsored by the NFL
  4. Coaches will be provided with coaching materials that cover the importance of being organized and emphasize using the right type of motivation through cooperation and teamwork
  5. Both coaches and players will receive NFL apparel
  6. Builds players’ self confidence and self-esteem being part of an NFL sponsored camp
